THE TEAM

ABOUT US

Jagruti is an independent, registered, not for profit, non government organization.
It was started in 1998 in Mangenkoppa, Belgaum District of Karnataka with the aim of organising and empowering the community, because in community lies our strength. Since then has been working with women, children and differently-abled people in Khanapur taluk of Belgaum district.
Our programs are based on activities that are woven in such a way that every activity of each intervention compliments the larger goal of creating an empowered community and self sustainable organization.

A just, secular and violence-free society through the empowerment of vulnerable groups for a life of dignity is our vision.
